| GreenHaus Design Build Process |

| |
The GreenHaus Design Build Process saves time, money, and frustration by integrating budgetary considerations at the beginning of the design process. If an architect or designer does not understand the difference in cost between remodeling and new construction, drawings will never jump off the page because blueprints that can’t mesh with the bottom line will only lead to one thing: “sticker shock”. It’s one reason that more than 70% of all designs are never built. GreenHaus Builders utilizes design/build to avoid sticker shock by precisely crafting the plans and the budget. Here’s how it works: |
|
 |
Step 1: First meeting and preliminary proposal
Within two weeks of meeting with our design staff, preliminary design and construction budgets are established and a timeline for progression is presented. |
|
Step 2: Professional Design Agreement
Once the Professional Design Agreement is signed and the deposit is paid, the design and budget work commences. |
Step 3: Detailed Proposal
Following the previously established timeline, preliminary drawings are presented and budget review is conducted. It is at this critical stage that the decision is made to move forward with construction drawings based on the previously established budget or the decision is made to alter the budget and/or design. |
Step 4: Revisions and Construction Contract
Client changes are weaved into the final plans and scope of work. The contract is signed, project schedule finalized, and a start date is set. |
In the design/build concept, pre-production systems are carefully executed to minimize changes, delays, and—most importantly--additional costs. GreenHaus Builders will maximize the value of your project by developing your dream while considering the costs, which leads to efficient and successful projects. |
