The GHBA Green Building Initiative (GBI) is a voluntary green building program developed by the Greater Houston Builders Association to promote and facilitate practical approaches to green construction.  The program serves the Greater Houston region and encourages the construction of healthy, energy and water efficient homes that reduce utility costs and use recycled, renewable and / or reclaimed materials that protect the environment.  In helping to further these efforts and stay ahead of the curve, GreenHaus Builders is approaching green building in practical and affordable ways.
